• Review and comprehension of the formal purchase order’s scope
  and program.

• Samples / Prototype / Shop Drawings - procurement management

• Monitoring of manufacturing process in alignment with agreed
  program

• Quality control supervision at key milestones in the manufacturing
  process

• Regular procurement meetings with factory management –
  recording of action statements emanating.

• Scope variation management (if required)

• Quality inspections of packing  - appropriate for long distance
  freight forwarding.

• Interface and coordination of all freight forwarding requirements.

• Regular progress reporting and liaison with The William Watson
  Hotel Furniture Co. management to ensure all necessary
  requirements of the order are being actioned.

 

Strategic Alliance – Australia (key activities)

• Development of comprehensive strategic plans with regard to
  transport, storage, logistics, delivery and installation.

• Insurance management for all activities from port to final
  installation in hotel / resort development.

• Management of customs clearance and freight forwarding to
  storage warehouse.

• Identification of furniture items using photographs and bar
  coding – preparation of respective Asset Register.

• Quality inspections of packing and packaging identification

• Due diligence activities with regard to the hotel or resort
  development to facilitate optimal installation methodology.

• Coordination and cooperation with hotel or resort owners /
  operators with regard to delivery and installation generally.

• Final clean / polish of furniture and cleaning of surrounding
  areas where furniture installed.

• Compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements
   – both legislative and hotel or resort requirements.

• Management of handover requirements in conjunction with
  The William Watson Hotel  Furniture Co. management.

• Regular progress reporting and liaison with The William Watson
  Hotel Furniture Co. management to ensure all necessary
  requirements of the order are being actioned.
